Roles & Responsibilities
DHL Chartering is under DHL Industrial Projects and Chartering, carrying bulk and general cargoes including coal, ores, grain, bauxite, steel products and cement clinker, etc., as well as industrial projects cargoes by bulk carriers, MPP and heavy lifts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead chartering of Capsize or Panamax vessels in voyage and time charter
• Develop new cargo owners and clients of iron ore and coal with main focus in the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean region
• Be able to achieve financial target with the responsibility of profit and loss of the team
• Market Capesize or Panamax vessels to charterers and brokers
• Internally work closely with the Operation team to optimize voyage performance
• Maintain and maximize the utilization of the fleets for the best revenue and profit of the business
• Forecast and analyze market conditions to optimize chartering opportunities
• Responsible for expanding the footprint of the company worldwide

Requirements

• Possess cumulative experience of minimum 15 years in dry bulk chartering with the primary focus of Capesize or Panamax fleet
• Strong capability of booking iron ore and coals from cargo owners and clients
• Solid hands-on experiences in handling voyage and time chartering
• Excellent track record of achieving financial targets
• Tough negotiation and deal closing skills
• Bachelor degree in Maritime or business relevant major
• Must be fluent in English, Chinese mandarin speaking will be preferable
