01FEB2018 - JOB - Oil Tanker Chartering Manager - Singapore

Our client, a world-renowned vessel owner, is presently on the search for a Chartering Manager to support their Singapore Office.

Duties

• Manage a team of Chartering Executives and Operators for Oil Tankers
• Monitor market freight rates movement, provide regular evaluation and market analysis
• Coordinate with technical and safety for cargoes stowage/handling
• Evaluation vessel performance for cargoes delivery, bunker consumption after each voyage and recommend improvement plan
• Maintain close relationship with Charterer/Broker
• Handles cargo disputes, demurrages, Customer’s complaint
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports to Management

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Maritime studies
• 3-5 years Chartering Manager experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Attention to detail is very important
• Good telephone manner with strong communication skills are essential
