01JAN2019 - NEWS - Offshore driller Transocean inks five year contract with Chevron for newbuild drillship

Offshore driller Transocean has recently inked a five-year contract with Chevron for one of its two ultra-deepwater drillship currently under construction at Jurong Shipyard in Singapore. The drillship will be the first rated for 20,000 psi operations, and will feature the most advanced capabilities and state-of-the-art technology.
