Dan-Bunkering is looking for talented Bunker Trader Trainees to join our two-year trainee programme at our office in Middelfart.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
As a trainee in Dan-Bunkering you will be working in the trading team as well as attending courses at the Danish Shipping Academy. As a result, you will get a two-year education combined with professional experience and an exciting job as a Bunker Trader.
You will have a mentor within the trading team who will take the lead in your learning, providing detailed training on the industry you will be working in. The next step will be to establish an understanding of the market as well as developing your own relationships and sourcing channels.
Your progress will be reviewed throughout the programme and at the end of the two years, if you are successful, you will be offered a permanent position as Bunker Trader in Middelfart or in one of our other offices Worldwide.

DAY TO DAY TASKS

• Support the trading team by assisting in market research, order handling and various other tasks related to Trading
• Participate in client and supplier visits
• Approach new business

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Has completed HHX or a similar business education
• Has a proficiency in written and spoken English
• Is a fast learner who likes to win
• Is a successful salesperson
• Is independent as well as a team player
• Is social and has a proactive approach to sales
• Is willing to put in a great effort to achieve great results
• Is ambitious with a high level of energy
