Company Background:

Praxis Energy Agents is a multi-national trading office for marine fuels. We are currently expanding our sales force in an effort to strengthen our position in our regional markets.

Our customers are shipping companies/vessel operators in our local markets. We work with fuel distributors worldwide to satisfy our customers’ needs by trading fuel with first quality service and seasoned market know how.

Purpose:

Supports sales and local team with existing clients, handling both operational matters while simultaneously leading new marketing efforts.

Duties:

  • Maintain strong customer relations; handle post sales items and administrative processes.
  • Collect industry data used in our industry reports and market insight.
  • Utilize research material and web based tools for effective marketing efforts alongside our team.
  • Provides market information, product, and pricing information by identifying customer needs, selecting appropriate information.
  • Follow internal strategies on building our customer base and spearhead persistent marketing efforts.
  • Willing to travel to meet with business contacts, attend conferences and other industry related events, as required.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, good analytical ability, & understanding the needs of our business partners.
  • Must be multi-tasker, dependable, professional, responsible, & a team player.
  • Strong negotiation ability.
  • 2-3 years experience in Shipping or oil industry. Maritime and strong geographical knowledge required.
  • English a must. Second language preferable.
