02AUG2018 - NEWS - US Energy Information Administration reports surprise build of crude oil inventories for last week

On Wednesday, US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported a large build in crude oil inventories and a production decline in the week ending July 27. As per this weekly petroleum status report US commercial crude oil inventories, excluding those in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), increased by 3.8 million barrels last week.
