02JAN2019 - NEWS - Oil prices fall early on Wednesday due to rise in US crude production

Oil prices fall early on Wednesday on the back of surging U.S. crude production and concerns of an economic slowdown in 2019. International Brent crude futures were down 15 cents from their final close. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) spot crude oil futures were down by 7 cents.
