03APR2019 - NEWS - Dutch shipping company Visser Shipping inks contract with Value Maritime to install scrubbers in its three containerships

Dutch shipping company Visser Shipping has recently signed a contract to outfit its three containerships with hybrid-ready scrubber systems. Signed with Value Maritime, the contract includes an option for a fourth scrubber. The open-loop scrubbers are set to be installed on Visser Shipping’s vessels between October and December this year in order to be ready before IMO 2020 goes into effect on January 1, 2020. Visser Shipping currently has a fleet of five feeder container vessels providing transport throughout Northwest Europe.
