Job description
Are you an ambitious and enthusiastic person with strong commercial and analytical skills eager to develop and build a career within Shipping? 
We are seeking a candidate with minimum 3-5 years of experience in Shipping – preferable bunkers or operations to strengthen our Bunker team.  You will be handling mainly the Asia-Pacific region and be working from Singapore.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Negotiate, execute and follow-up on bunker orders as well as potential claim settlement 
• Performance and quality monitoring and reporting 
• Contribute in identifying and developing new regions and new counter parts 
• Actively contribute with market view based on region research and analysis of price trends 
• Manage relationships with external suppliers, brokers and traders as well as internal operations and chartering colleagues.   
• Be proactive in advising and in handling new legislations and new bunker specifications

• Proactive, fast learner with commercial drive and mind-set 
• Strong and willing team player able to work closely with colleagues and contribute to the success of the desk as well as independence and strong responsibility 
• Analytical skills, able to see the bigger picture and connect that with activities in the daily work
• Ability and willingness to interact with counter parts to obtain their trust andconfidence
• Take decisions and express own views clearly with due consideration and respect  

Qualifications and experience:

• Preferably a Bachelor degree within relevant subjects 
• 3-5 years’ professional experience from shipping, preferably bunker or operations 
• Strong analytical mind with a natural ability to identify trends and make practical recommendations based on corporate strategy. 
• Fluent in English both written and oral
