04APR2018 - NEWS - Egypt initiates the development of a new multipurpose terminal at Damietta Port

Recently Egypt has initiated the project which aims to develop a new multipurpose terminal at the Damietta Port. The new terminal is expected to be completed within eighteen months from the commencement of the construction. This new terminal will reduce the waiting period of the vessels and it will increase the cargo handling capacity. Damietta Port is at a distance of 70 km from Port Said.
