Responsibilities:
Pre-Fixture Operations:

• Update the vessels’ position /Q88 questionnaires and required certificates
• Providing chartering with vessel / port / itinerary information as requested
• Follow vessels’ daily position and update in system in time

Post-fixture Operations:

• To plan, execute, monitor and manage vessels operations, in accordance to Charter Party terms and conditions, for allocated voyage under direct supervision of HOD
• Monitoring vessel daily movements and performance (incl but not limited to speed and bunker consumption) to optimize costs
• Planning vessel’s bunker requirements with master and procure bunkers under guidance of HOD
• To send ship master charterer’s voyage orders and ensuring compliance including B/L release, LOI preparation & etc
• To appoint agency (loading/discharging/bunkering ports) and arrange other services related to the voyage requirements eg. deslopping,  surveyors & etc
• Protecting the managed vessel’s profit and loss account by carefully analyzing the port costs and other services which will affect the revenue and cost
• Monitor tank cleaning status, deslop & wash water conditions
• Collaborate with other team members & management to timely resolve any operational issues and avoid customers impact, ensuring minimum loss on P&L
• Processing payments to service provider / agent and entry in Vessel Operations (Softmar) database & SAP system
• Issuing / countering of Freight invoice and all other claims (incl but not limited to deviation / heating / shifting / port costs & etc) in relation to voyage within the time bar.
• Verifying final disbursement account (FDA) and submit to finance and management approval
• Chasing  freight remittance in timely manner
• Proper filing of all cargo & relevant documents  in voyage folder
• Maintaining database Vessel Operations (Softmar) of all voyages information/records- timeliness and accuracy
• Liaise with P& I correspondence if potential claim arises from operational issue
• Insurance related matter, post claim handling

Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics / Shipping or related fields
• Min 2 years of Operations / Chartering experience in the Shipping industry
• Experience in Tanker / Dry Bulk shipping and familiar with post fixture operations
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent team player and able to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to work independently with high flexibility
