Job description 
Our client is a leading Japanese trading house dealing with a number of different products and raw materials, ranging across steel, metals, lumber, petrochemical and food products.

The headquarters are based in Tokyo and the company itself is listed on the Tokyo and Osaka stock exchanges with an annual turnover of 16 billion USD.

The company has an international network with over 75 locations worldwide. The London Branch is currently involved in the fuel supply to ocean vessels, non-ferrous metals recycling and steel sales in Europe, the Middle East and also Africa.

<<Roles and Responsibilities>>

You buy bunker fuel from a supplier and sell it to shipping companies. Your work is to find customers, negotiate prices, and make sure that sales go through. You advise customers on the different types of bunker fuel. You also provide information on which harbours the fuel is available in, and you work closely with port agents in order to arrange the fuel delivery.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5pm with NO WEEKENDS!

Fluency in English is required
A basic knowledge of Japanese is preferred
IT skills: Excel skills required (others: Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, SAP - training can be provided)
Numeracy
Experience of marine, shipping and petroleum industries
