At present looking for a claims specialist /claims officer for our client who is based in Dubai. 

Job Role: 

• Candidate with 4-5 years of extensive experience within the P&I Claims function. 
• Candidates with exposure in the following areas are encouraged to apply : 
• Handling marine insurance claims 
• Liaising with surveyors/lawyers/insurers to negotiate and settle claims on behalf of the P&I Club members in the Gulf region 
• Conducting bunker, cargo and container surveys 
• Coordinating with 3rd party contractors and providing advice and assistance to principals, members and local ship owners 

Requirements 

• The incumbents should preferably be a Law graduate but a university degree in any other discipline would also be considered. He should be a “self starter” with strong analytical, problem solving and influencing skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Thorough knowledge of UAE rules and regulations is a must. A marine related certification is desired.
