05APR2019 - NEWS - BIMCO to open a new office in Athens, Greece during the summer of this year

Bimco will open an office in Athens early this summer with the objective is to have a stronger and closer dialogue with Bimco's Greek membership and to recruit more Greek members and provide a back-up service to the owner’s every day challenges. Greek shipowners are already the biggest group of Bimco members measured by fleet size, with 152 Greek shipowners as members. With offices in Shanghai and Singapore, the  Greek office will be staffed with one person who will report to Bimco's head of membership and business development.
