05MAR2018 - JOB - Bunker Procurement Executive - Singapore

JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Accountabilities:

• Liaise with Line Managers and Master on selecting the optimum supplier and bunker locations for vessel under company operations.
• Co-ordinate with Masters/suppliers to ensure supply on time to avoid vessel delays.
• Monitor vessel on and off-hire period to avoid bunker surplus during vessel redelivery.
• Attend to quantity / quality dispute (if any) and bunker claims
• Maintain a network of professional, reliable and trustworthy surveyors and bunker suppliers.
• Maintain the internal Bunker Procurement system for all orders placed

Key performance Indicators:

• Timeliness and accuracy of bunker procurement records
• Timeliness in handling discrepancies and claims
• Assist to maximize cost effectiveness of bunker procured

Requirements:

• Diploma in Maritime Studies / Marine Engineering or equivalent
• Possess 1-2 years' Logistics or Supply Chain experience.
• Previous Bunker Procurement experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
