05NOV2018 - NEWS - Proposal for environmental assessment of the Port Blandford marina development project submitted

The Small Craft Harbors Branch of the Fisheries and Oceans Canada has recently submitted a proposal for an environmental assessment of the Port Blandford Marina Development project. The proposed project includes the construction of a new wharf, concrete launchway, and a 163 meter breakwater at the Port Blandford. The project will also involve dredging of the harbor basin with an approximate footprint of 4540 square meters. The project is expected to provide improved launch facilities and wharf infrastructure, and necessary protection for marina infrastructure at the facility.
