Since the start of activities in 1981, Dan-Bunkering has been a pioneer in the bunker Trading business. The first many chapters have been a story about success and development, and the company has rapidly become one of the world’s leading bunker companies. Today, Dan-Bunkering has more than 100 skilled and dedicated employees stationed in 12 different
locations around the World.

With the upcoming 2020 and in line with our growth strategy we are looking for an experienced and inspirational CEO who can lead by example, is visionary and highly skilled in leading the development and execution of the company’s short and long-term strategy.

Reporting to the CCO of our parent company, you will work closely with the CCO and the Board of Directors, serving as the main link between the different divisions within the company to supervise and control all strategic business aspects of the company. You will be based in our office in Middelfart or Hellerup (Copenhagen).

As our new CEO you thrive as an inspiring leader with a business mindset of seeing “the bigger picture” and driving the company’s development, guiding it towards long-term success.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be responsible for supervising the company and its daily operations in close cooperation with your managers as well as the CCO. You will focus on maintaining an effective team as well as reshaping it to fit the future ambitions, and execute the strategic plans and initiatives as laid out by the Board of Directors and the CCO. Furthermore, your responsibilities include:
• Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth
• strategies and processes in partnership with your high-level officers
• Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
• Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
• Driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, business
• goals and objectives in keeping with the vision outlined for the company by the Board of Directors and the CCO

YOUR BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS
You have an educational and commercial background preferably within the shipping or bunker trading industry which enables you to offer effective and proper strategic direction as well as create the visons for success.

You are a natural leader who has gained proven and relevant hands on experience in strategic and operational management in the industry. You are motivated by this Unique opportunity to take Dan-Bunkering to the next level and achieve long term strategic goals.

In addition, you have:

• Experience in leading, coaching and inspiring a global and cultural diversified Company and team of Managers including the ability to manage time effectively and handle internal as well as external conflicts with ease
• Proven experience as CEO or similar senior management position
• Strong understanding of corporate measures of performance
• Proven experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
• Strong understanding of corporate finance
