A container terminal has been recently planned for Australian Port of Newcastle which is now ready to diversify. Australian Port of Newcastle is one of the largest port worldwide involved in exporting of coal. The site for container terminal has the capacity for a 2 million TEU per annum along with a shipping channel that can accommodate vessels up to 10,000 TEU.
