06NOV2018 - NEWS - SITC International Holdings of China enters into shipbuilding contract with Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for the construction of three containership

China based boxship operator SITC International Holdings has recently entered into shipbuilding contracts with Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for the construction of three 2,700 teu containerships. The delivery of the three ships are scheduled in October 2020, December 2020 and February 2021 respectively. SITC currently operates a fleet of over 70 ships with total capacity of around 105,000 teu. The company also has another 11 newbuildings on order.
