MM Marine is the shipping subsidiary of Mercuria, operating as a separate branch, fully-owned by Mercuria Energy Group. We operate more than 50 oceangoing product tankers, coastal tankers, floating storage tankers and tank barges. We provide shipping services to third-party charterers and to Minerva Bunkering, one of the world’s leading physical suppliers of marine fuels, which is also fully-owned by Mercuria Energy Group. 

Position Description
As a Shipping Operator you will be assigned the responsibility of a group of vessels and by using your experience and knowledge, you will assume the coordination of ship operations activities of your ships on a daily basis. Main focus areas are:

Managing ship itinerary and cargo operations 
Voyage estimation and agency fee estimation
Monitoring vessels commercial and contractual performance
Managing issues arising throughout charter parties
Communications with charterers, agents, terminals and port authorities
Controlling port expenses and agency disbursement accounts
Managing hire invoices, demurrage and cargo claims

As member of the Operations Department, you will report to the Operations Manager and will have the support of dedicated colleagues to familiarize yourself with the fleet. Education, Abilities & Skills
Minimum 3 years working experience in an Operator position in tanker shipping companies
Sea service as Master or Chief Officer in tankers - or - University Degree in Shipping & Maritime Studies or Engineering 
Excellent English communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Initiative and independence.
Strong safety culture.
