07JUN2018 - NEWS - Spirit of British Columbia ferry back into service with upgrade

One of the largest vessels in the fleet of BC Ferries - ferry Spirit of British Columbia, has recently returned to service on her route between Vancouver and Victoria after a upgrade. The upgrade allows the ferry to run on liquified natural gas (LNG) which is expected to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions by around 12,500 tonnes annually. British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. (BC Ferries) is headquartered at Victoria, Canada.
