JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities:

To provide shore-based support to vessels under his charge in terms of technical matters
To plan, co-ordinate and executive planned maintenance, repairs, upgrade and modifications within budget and on time.
Overall in charge of vessel operational expenses covering repairs, maintenance and other survey/certification requirements
Overall in charge in ensuring vessel under his/her care to be fully-fit and seqaaworth to trade as required
Overall in charge in ensuring the vessel complies with charterer/client requirements
Prepare yearly budget requirements for each vessel under his care, submit for approval and revisions
Monitors and manage vessel Planned Maintenance plans
Plans for classification and statutory surveys/audits fo vessels
Analyze and provide feedback on technical matters
Communicates with vessels on routine basis, ensuring that technical issues are handled expeditously
Conduct on-board technical review
Coordinate all technical ship management aspects for a group of ships
Act as day-to-day contact point between the shore organisation and vessels in all technical matters, including maintenance, operations, purchase, administrative and manning
Guarantee and claims issues, vessel inspection and reporting, preparation and supervision of dry-dockings/ repairs, budgeting and cost control, coordination with Class/ Authorities and quality reporting

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Coc Class 2/Professional Degree in Engineering (Marine) or equivalent
Sailing experience on bunker barges or oil tankers
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates

Salary Range:
Salary will commensurate based on qualifications and experience
