08DEC2017 - NEWS - Oil prices settled higher on Thursday

Due to a threatened strike in Nigeria and growing Middle East political tensions, the crude oil prices settled higher on Thursday. At New York Mercantile Exchange crude futures for January delivery rose 1.3% to settle at $56.69 a barrel where as on London's Intercontinental Exchange, Brent gained 1.5% to trade at $62.12 a barrel.
