For this requirement, Faststream has aligned with a leader in the LNG Shipping and Terminal space who is searching for a Marine Coordinator to be based at an LNG Terminal in Texas.

Along with working closely with the Marine Supervisor and Marine Manager duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting operations that support both the dock and incoming/outgoing ships
• Participating in Bathymetric surveys of berth and construction dock basins
• Coordinating arrival / departure of Gas Carriers at the terminal
• Assist in dock operations such as berthing / unberthing, gangway deployments and observe all Marine Operations for the purpose of reports and records

Suitable candidates will have:

• A 4 year degree in Engineering, Maritime or other disciplines that apply to LNG terminals
• At least 5 years working ashore or underway dealing with LNG ships and/or terminals
• A severe sensitivity to safety related issues in a hazardous climate
• Management of marine shipping or tugboat activities
