09JAN2019 - NEWS - Japan Drilling Company scraps a 1981 built jackup rig

Japan Drilling Company (JDC) has recently sold 1981-built jackup rig Sagadril 2 (formerly Hakuryu-7) earlier this week. According to Japan Drilling Company the rig was sold to an overseas entity for demolition. The Mitsubishi-built jackup has mainly been operating in the Gulf of Mexico over the last 20 years.
