Summary/Objective 
  
The role involves a spectrum of finance operational functions including but not limited to, perform credit checks on suppliers/buyers, planning and issuing letter of credit to support trade flow, maintaining and reporting of borrowing base, maintaining of trade credit insurance policy, and perform financial analysis and other related functions. 
  
Essential Functions 
Review of contracts for all purchase transactions. 
Ensure payment obligations are met as per contractual agreement to allow cargo loading and discharge. 
Plan and issue letter of credit or other financial instruments to ensure transactions are in good order under club or bilateral facilities. 
Assist in monitoring and reporting of finance facilities, including weekly mark to market of any storage positions and loan exposure. 
Responsible for monitoring of trade credit insurance to support customer credit limits and smooth running of the facility.
Assist in the day-to-day financial operations within the company, including Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables transactions, processing of documentation for borrowing base facility, and other related transactions.

Supervisory Responsibility 
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coordinator for other positions in the Company. 
  
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6.00 pm and Saturday 9.00am to 1pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 

Required Education and Experience  
·  Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field; Minimum 7 years relevant experience in commodity trading, banking and trade finance 
·  Knowledgeable in oil & gas ((bunkering, oil & gas supply and distribution) 
·  Understanding and familair with UCP600 & ISBP etc as well 
·  Proficient in MS Office 
·  Understanding of relevant business principles and practices
