About The Job
To coordinate with the Chartering teams for selecting appropriate vessels from the market, calculate the cargo intakes, maximize the stowage, issue instructions to master and appoint the shipping agents according to the operations process and company system.
In charge of bunkering arrangement, monitoring voyage performance of vessels.
Evaluate and select the right size of vessels, estimate the voyage duration and cargo intakes.
Provide the updated port information and congestion, including highlighting any possibilities of loss in terms of time or efficiency.
Appoint shipping agent, and work with agent in respect of issuing of bills of lading, release and collection in accordance with operations process and system.
Liaise with master of vessel on voyage performance, cargo intakes, cargo operations reports and vessel safety issues.
Ensure cargo operations are completed within the shortest possible time, and that vessels space or deadweight is fully utilized.
Follow up with various parties on related documentation and settlements, including bills of lading , letters of indemnity, statement of fact, voyage logs, port disbursements and defend claims logged against vessels.
Visit vessel for familiarization and inspection, and prepare reports after each visit for purpose of continuous improvements on ships’ management.
Maintain close liaison with ship Management Company on qualification and safety of crew etc., final approval master/chief engineer to be assigned to self-owned vessels.

Skills And Experience Required
At least 3 years of experience in ship chartering operations, handling dry bulk products
Experiencd in bulk carrier operation field
