10APR2019 - NEWS - DFDS of Denmark awards contract to DESMI Ocean Guard A/S to install ballast water systems on existing fleet of vessels

Danish shipping and logistics company DFDS has recently contracted compatriot company DESMI Ocean Guard A/S to install ballast water management systems (BWMS) on DFDS’ existing fleet of vessels. DFDS and the BWMS manufacturer recently signed a framework agreement for the supply of CompactClean BWMSs. The agreement covers more than 40 ferries to be retrofitted in the period from early 2020 until end 2024, according to DESMI Ocean Guard.
