[UTC] 10JAN2019 - NEWS - Vietnamese flagged tanker caught fire in Hong Kong waters off Lamma Island

A tanker caught fire in Hong Kong waters off Lamma Island after which one person has died and two persons are missing. The fire on board the Vietnamese flagged Aulac Fortune is believed to have started as crews were preparing for bunkering operations from a fuel oil barge. The fire started at around 11:30 a.m. local time when the vessel was rocked by three explosions. The tanker had a total of 25 crew members on board.
