Netherlands based ship building company, Damen Shipyards Group has recently secured a contract from global public transport company Arriva Danmark to provide five fully electric ferries. These ferries will be designed to offer efficient and economically viable operations and it will operate in Copenhagen, Denmark region. Founded during 1927, the Damen Group is headquartered at Gorinchem, Netherlands.
