Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for negotiating and purchasing bunker fuel to support company operations worldwide
• Establish and develop relationships with suppliers, brokers and other third parties
• Monitor industry trends and changes in order to identify new business opportunities
• Work closely with operations department to arrange and monitor bunker supplies
• Report into Head of Bunker Purchasing

Key Qualifications / Experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in the shipping industry either purchasing/selling marine bunker fuel or in an operations role
• Strong knowledge of the shipping industry including current issues, legislation etc.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a proactive and team-orientated attitude
• A qualification in procurement, engineering, shipping or other relevant field
• Located in Germany or happy to relocate
