Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for own physical base oil trading book
• Maintain close relationships with suppliers and end users whilst ensuring close cooperation with the operations and logistics team to ensure smooth and timely trades
• Monitor and analyse market and pricing trends to maximise profitability and trading opportunities
• Develop new business opportunities with base oil producers, traders and counterparties to ensure growth of the trading book
• Reports into Head of Trading

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 4 or more years experience in base oil trading, or experience with base oil producers
• Succesful and profitable track record on a physical trading desk within the oil and energy industry
• Strong knowledge of different base oils and their applications and end users
• Focused on the LATAM/North American or Asian market with experience in this geographies
• Located in Geneva (or happy to relocate)
