Norway based scrubber manufacturer Yara Marine Technologies is looking to nearly double its workforce to meet demand. As shipowners rush to install scrubbers ahead of the 1 January 2020 global sulphur cap Yara has landed 200 to 300 scrubber deliveries over the last 36 months and expects this number to more than double in the coming years. Yara's inline scrubbers can be installed in 10 – 20 days, which can be done in transit meaning there is no downtime due to the vessel being in dock.
