11JAN2018 - NEWS - European Port Offering discount to emission free ships

According to Port of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) any vessel having the Green Award (Platinum Label) will be granted discount on the inland harbour dues for the Amsterdam and Zaanstad port waters. The Green Award is a type of certification scheme (related to navigation) and platinum label has been introduced in the last month for the zero emission vessels. Port of Amsterdam is one of the busiest port in Europe and it is owned by Government of Amsterdam.
