12APR2019 - NEWS - Russian shipping firm Sovcomflot inks deal with Zvezda Shipbuilding on 05 April for the construction of a LNG carrier

Russian shipping company Sovcomflot has recently ordered an LNG carrier at compatriot Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex. Sovcomflot and Zvezda signed an agreement for the construction of the gas carrier on 05 April, 2019. The ship is scheduled for delivery in 2022. Subsequently, Sovcomflot and Russian gas producer Novatek inked a 25-year charter deal for the newbuilding.
