DEPA has received approval to build a small-scale LNG facility at Patras as part of a wider EU-led project to promote LNG as a marine fuel in southeastern Europe.Greek gas supply company DEPA received government approval on 30 July to build a small-scale LNG terminal at the port of Patras in western Greece. The development is part of a plan by Athens and the European Commission to make Greece into an LNG bunkering hub for southeastern Europe.
