Affinity Shipping LLP is looking to expand their LNG infrastructure division. The new role will be suited to the right person seeking a client-facing role, or those looking to switch from an analytical role to a more commercial role. We are seeking an independent, hard-working person with the ability to develop new business opportunities with small-scale LNG Shipping, Bunkering and Shorebased LNG infrastructure projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
• Become a key member of the LNG small-scale / infrastructure team and provide day-to-day support to customers
• Build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with existing and new customers
• Provide advice and solutions to customers to meet their needs based on the information flow, analytics and opportunities in the energy market
• Work with the team to drive successful chartering opportunities and develop new projects
• Prepare reports for internal consumption and for clients
• Conduct individual and autonomous research, including identifying new growth opportunities in the small-scale sector
• Drive growth in this emerging sector
 
Requirements :
• 3+ years’ experience in an LNG analyst/business development role (small-scale familiarity would be beneficial) with some skills in client interaction
• Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualifications / relevant work experience
• Displays good numerical ability and understands the basic principles of algebra and statistics
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Works well in a team environment, focusing on collaboration and adapting to the needs of a diverse team
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Diligent, efficient and able to manage multiple conflicting deliverables, including working under pressure
• Comfortable in a technical environment
• Ability to work in the UK
