13DEC2018 - NEWS - Germany based ship building company Meyer Werft delivers world’s first LNG powered cruise ship to AIDA Cruises

Germany based ship building company has recently delivered  the world’s first cruise ship to be powered solely by LNG, AIDAnova, to its owner AIDA Cruises. The initial delivery, scheduled for November, was postponed by Meyer Werft in October as the shipbuilder needed more time to thoroughly test all of the ship’s systems in order to ensure smooth operation of the vessel. The first guests will be welcomed aboard on Tenerife on December 19, 2018.
