JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:

• Monitor market freight rates movement, provide market intelligence in terms of market fixtures and vessel lineups to trading team
• Lead chartering efforts for Time Charter, Spot Charter and COA
• Coordinate with refinery and operations team for cargos stowage/handling
• Provide input and insights to trading team with regards to FFA
• For Time Charters, evaluate vessel performance, bunker consumption after each voyage and recommend any improvement plan(s)
• Maintain close relationship with Owners/Shipbrokers
• Handle cargo and demurrage disputes and always protect Company’s interest

Skill requirement

• 5-10 years of Tanker Chartering experience
• Competent in DPP VLCC Suezmax, Aframax, Competent in CPP LR1, LR2, MR and Chemical Tankers chartering
• Prefer candidates with knowledge in China domestic shipping market
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written - (to liaise with Chinese speaking associates)
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Economics, Marketing, Maritime Studies or equivalent.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent
