14JAN2019 - NEWS - Energy major Chevron launches three new very large crude carriers during last week

Energy major Chevron of USA has recently launched three new very large crude carriers (VLCCs) that will join the company’s global shipping fleet. Splashed at Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) shipyard in South Korea, the ships in question are Houston Voyager, Pascagoula Voyager and San Ramon Voyager. Each carrier has a capacity of 2 million barrels and will trade primarily between the Arabian Gulf and the US.
