JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Highlighting key credit risk issues
• Provide effective assessment of new business activity
• Review work flows and processes to achieve potential efficiencies
• Regular exposure reporting to management and businesses
• Attend meetings with Bunker Team to ensure Credit expectations are clearly communicated
• Prepare Credit Proposals for new customer and Reviews for existing customers
• Responsibilities cover credit analysis, customers credit due diligence, limit setting, exposure monitoring and reporting
• Actively work on counterpart risk assessment and monitoring
• Proactively interact with external suppliers, insurance company & broker, customers and internally across various departments (such as finance dept., traders, operators, bunkers and lawyers)
• Perform KYC/AML check and onboard new counterparties for trading and bunker activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Financial degree with min. 5 year of relevant experience
• Proficient in MS office products (Excel)
• Experience in credit assessment is essential, while experience in commodity trading industry is preferred.
• Good understanding of Credit Risk techniques and principles
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Experience in effective partnering with trading/operation/business development teams
