14NOV2018 - NEWS - Mystic Cruises orders two polar expedition vessels from West Sea shipyard

Mystic Cruises, a brand of Portuguese financial holding Mystic Invest, has recently ordered two polar expedition vessels from compatriot West Sea shipyard. The vessels are expected to be worth EUR 118 million (USD 132.6 million), according to Martifer, a parent company of the shipyard. The newbuilds will be built based on the Polar Code (Ice class of the Explorer series) and equipped with a hybrid propulsion system. Each of the ships will be able to accommodate 200 passengers and 112 crew members.
