Romania - Engineer's Day
All Romanian engineers annually celebrate their professional holiday, known as Engineer's Day, on September 14. This holiday was officially established in 2000.
In 2000, the government of Romania designated September 14 to be a special day, honoring the hard work that engineers do to build nation and modernize the regions of Romania. Every year special events and festive ceremonies are organized by the Ministry of Education and Research in cooperation with the Technical Academy, thе association of engineers, to celebrate the holiday. These events are usually held in the form of a symbolic meeting.
