Singapore is one the major bunkering ports worldwide. Bunker prices in Singapore have increased during 2017 due to the strict usage of mass flow meters (MFM) that aims to ensure transparency and other measure in the bunkering process. The mass flow meters (MFM) system is mainly meant to minimise, if not eliminate, human inaccuracies and errors in measuring the quantity of bunkers.
