French container transportation and shipping company CMA CGM Group has recently received the first containership in a series of four vessels that will serve the French West Indies. The new CMA CGM Fort De France vessel will sail under the French flag. Featuring a length of 219m, CMA CGM Fort De France includes a draft ideal for the West Indies ports. CMA CGM is expected to enhance the economic condition of the French West Indies with its service involving the new vessels.
