15JAN2019 - NEWS - Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering gets the contract for the construction of four VLCCs

South Korea based ship building company Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DMSE) has started the year on a high note having won a deal to build four very large crude oil carriers (VLCCs) for an unnamed shipowner from Oceania. The contract, the first one for DSME this year, is worth USD 364 million. The vessel are scheduled to be delivered during first quarter of 2021.
