About the job
As a Junior Sourcer in Dan-Bunkering you will be working in the sourcing team and you will have a mentor within the team who will take the lead in your learning, providing detailed training on the industry you will be working in. The next step will be to establish an understanding of the market as well as develop your own relationships and sourcing channels. As you get more familiar with sourcing your day to day tasks will consist of:

• Back to back purchasing from physical market
• Purchase and logistic support to business units and sales
• Purchase planning, document management and data maintenance
• Introduction and involvement in deviation and complaint handling
• Participate in supplier visits
• Involved in trading derivatives/hedging techniques
• Dispute and claims handling
• Post fixing follow-up 
• Follow-up and process optimization
• Stakeholder management

Your profile
You are interested and passionate about sourcing. As this is an entry level position experience is not essential, however, knowledge and a relevant business degree from the oil and trading industry or similar and educational background in purchasing and trading will be an advantage. Dan-Bunkering is a competitive and demanding place to work so having a great work ethic is vital. Furthermore you:

• Have financial understanding and good IT knowledge
• Have solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint
• Are fluent in English and have good communication and presentation skills
• Have great interpersonal skills and are collaborative and flexible
• Have a strong business acumen and a holistic mindset
