17JUL2018 - NEWS - Japan’s oil refiners Idemitsu Kosan and Showa Shell will merge during April next year

Recently Japan’s oil refiners Idemitsu Kosan and Showa Shell Sekiyu have announced to merge during April next year. This will create a refiner with combined refining capacity of 1.06M bbl/day. After the the completion of the merger the trade name of the combined entity will be Idemitsu Showa Shell.
