18FEB2019 - NEWS - Petronet LNG Limited India and Tellurian Inc inked nonbinding agreement on thursday for investing in Driftwood LNG export terminal

On Thursday, Petronet LNG Limited India (PLL) and Tellurian Inc inked a nonbinding agreement to invest in Tellurian’s Driftwood LNG export terminal. India’s largest importer of liquefied natural gas, PLL is considering investing in Driftwood, a facility proposed for western Louisiana on the Gulf Coast. The production and export structure will deliver to several countries up to 27 Mtpa once completed. Tellurian’s plan for Driftwood has received the final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), a final investment decision will be made in the first half of 2019. Construction will begin shortly thereafter, with the facility to be in operation in 2023.
