18FEB2019 - NEWS - Qatar Petroleum inks sale and purchase agreement with Marubeni Corporation of Japan to supply light naphtha

Qatar Petroleum has recently inked a sale and purchase agreement to supply Japan’s Marubeni Corporation 200,000 metric tons of light naphtha annually for a period of five years. The agreement, which came into force in January 2019, is the third such contract to be concluded with Marubeni Corporation since both parties started their naphtha business together over three decades ago. The previous two long-term naphtha sales agreement with Marubeni Corporation were concluded in 2018.
